Rob Marchand Elected to Roxy™ Therapy Dogs Board

Roxy™ Therapy Dogs, the nonprofit that brings the support and comfort of therapy dogs to thousands of children each week in the greater Doylestown area, recently elected Rob Marchand to its board of directors.

Rob Marchand is a lifelong Bucks County resident and graduate of Central Bucks West High School and Dickinson College where he earned a B.A. in Economics. Rob has worked for Allstate Insurance Company since 2007 and opened his own Allstate Agency in 2014. Rob also sits on the board of the Lenape Valley Foundation.

In his free time, Rob loves to spend time at the beach with his wife and two daughters, who both attend elementary school in Central Bucks School District.  Rob is an avid golfer and is looking forward to volunteering with Roxy in the community and growing the Roxy footprint.

“I’ve always had a passion for working with both children and dogs,” Marchand said. “As a long-time camp counselor, often with children with developmental disabilities, I can see the need to provide them with as much support as possible and can see the impact dogs can have on children’s lives.”

Roxy™ Therapy Dogs is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit, donation-dependent organization with 70 teams and six programs that bring the support and comfort of therapy dogs to children in CBSD schools, healthcare facilities, the courthouse, and trauma situations.
