In Memory of Mila

We lost a truly special Roxy dog this weekend. If you knew Mila, then you knew what a gentle, loving spirit she had. She will be greatly missed by her Roxy family. Here are some words from her owner/handler, Phyllis Mikolaj:

It is with much sadness that I need to share that my Mila has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Mila was my second English Cream Golden and just celebrated her 10th birthday. She was just an absolute gentle and loving dog.

I would joke that she trained me during our many training classes and made them so easy and fun. I would refer to her as my old soul. People who knew her would say her eyes were like an old soul looking at you and that she knew you forever.

Mila loved to go to the high school and this is one of my most favorite pictures and memories of her at CB East. I’m so grateful that we have been able to visit schools, participate in the Doylestown Memorial Day Parade and do paw autographs for the Roxy Book- Be Like Bud launch!

Thank you Roxy Therapy Dogs for allowing me to share Mila with you and the community!
