In Memory of Sam

If you were lucky enough to meet Sam, the greyhound, then you know how incredibly sweet he was. Sadly, Sam passed away last week unexpectedly. He brought smiles and joy to children at Doylestown Hospital as well as, Linden and Barclay Elementary Schools. He will be greatly missed.

Sam loved his visits to Linden Elementary School

We had to put our beloved Sam down today. He tripped at my son’s house. What we thought was a broken ankle turned out to be cancer. 

He was a gentle giant who loved everyone. He was the unofficial mayor of New Hope/Lambertville. He greeted everyone he saw.

We are devastated as he was only 6 years old.  The prognosis was terrible - just 6-9 months left after amputating his leg and chemo.

His spirit will live forever in our hearts and memories.
