CB East Roxy Club Makes Donation to Roxy Therapy Dogs

The Central Bucks High School East Roxy™ Club presented a $700 check to their namesake Roxy™ Therapy Dogs accrued with funds raised by the students. Roxy Therapy Dogs is a Doylestown-based all-volunteer, donation-dependent, non-profit that provides certified therapy dogs to children in the Central Bucks School District, in healthcare settings, at the courthouse, and other venues — all free of charge.

The Club supports Roxy Therapy Dogs by raising money and providing opportunities for the CB East student body (and faculty) to meet with the dogs to alleviate stress, to attend special classes and events, and to support the community in times of grief.

Club Founder and President Maddi Fleck said, "I've been volunteering with Roxy Therapy Dogs since I was 5 years old, and I'm so happy to have found a way to give back to an organization that has given me so much."
