In Memory of Hansa

Friends, Roxy has suffered another sudden loss of one of our amazing dogs. Hansa was a large dog but her spirit and capacity to love were even larger. All of us at Roxy will miss her greatly.

Here are some words from her owner/handler, Andrea Dadigan:

“Hansa
Our first Leonberger, she was sweet in temperament and made hundreds of therapy visits. As an ambassador for the breed, we spent many years at Meet the Breed in NYC.

A few days shy of 10 years, Hansa competed and holds titles in scent work, obedience, and coursing. She also loved water rescue training.

Hansa had 12 beautiful puppies and her legacy lives on.

Hansa traveled home in my arms and left this world in the same way.”
