In Memory of Maggie

Our wonderful dogs are never with us long enough and sadly we have lost a long-time, beloved Roxy dog, Maggie McCrillis. She will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her. Here are some words from her owner/handler, Linda McCrillis:

We lost our beautiful little poodle, Maggie, about a week ago. She was nearly 17 years old and worked with Roxy for many of those years! She worked for 10 years with the Learning Support classes at Pine Run Elementary. The kids loved the way she wagged excitedly to greet them and then settled quickly to listen to them read. She also enjoyed comforting the kids at Dependency Court and the DA’s office from the beginning of each of those programs.

In addition to her Roxy work, she also enjoyed agility. One of her favorite things was to walk around Doylestown wagging her tail to convince people to admire and pat her! Lots of the kids in town were delighted to hear she was a Roxy dog since so many knew about them from their schools.

Maggie is missed at home and by many others.
