Thousands of Children Benefit From Roxy’s Services Each Week.
Roxy™ Therapy Dogs comfort the most innocent and vulnerable members of our society — our children. Roxy dogs improve self-esteem by providing a sense of well-being and relief from anxiety and fear. To a child who feels safe and relaxed, learning is accessible, and both physical and emotional healing are accelerated.
From Classroom to Courthouse, Children Benefit
Roxy’s Six Programs Have Immeasurable Impact On Children.
In the central Bucks County community, school-aged children receive comfort and support from our 80 teams in six programs: Elementary School Reading Inspiration, Student Specialized Support, Secondary School Stress Relief, Courthouse Companionship, Pediatric Comfort, and Roxy Responders.
Volunteers Are The Lifeblood Of Roxy.
Our therapy teams (handler and dog) complete rigorous training and achieve all state and team certifications through approved agencies. Our volunteers range from high school students to retired couples to working professionals. Volunteer opportunities vary across our venues, however, the common thread is our mission to support children through friendly, calm and loving therapy dog visits.
